This resource was created at the start of the COVID pandemic and demonstrates the use of ultrasound in the undifferentiated critical care scenario to aid management of a patient who is peri arrest.
Dr Nathan Peters is a staff specialist anaesthetist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital who has an broad interest in US and leads the hospital multidisciplinary ECHO club.
Dr Fran Williamson is an Emergency Physician who has been using US in the ED and prehospital setting for over 10 years. She is on the ACEM US committee and is the US lead within the RBWH ED.
Nathan and Fran are both passionate US teachers and are focussed on improving access to POCUS within the whole hospital system.
